On behalf of the entire organizing committee of IAGES ( Indian Assoiation of Gastrointestinal

We are for the first time organising meeting in Katmandu with Fellowship courses. Besides we
will have two prestigious orations in name of two legends who have contributed in growth of
IAGES since formative years - Dr HG Doctor and Dr Pradeep Choubey. Kathmandu, nestled amidst the

This conference promises a dynamic program featuring a distinguished faculty of renowned
international and national experts in the field of laparoscopic surgery and Endoscopy. Through a
series of engaging lectures, insightful discussions, and selected videos, we aim to foster a
deeper understanding of the latest advancements in minimally invasive surgical techniques.
Personally It will be a memorable event for me as I would take over as President of IAGES which
is a vibrant academic association of Minimal Invasive Surgeons working for last three decades.
PASHUPATINATH will give me strength to carry out activities in coming year with support and
guidance of Executive Committee members, Advisors and Trustees. Collectively we will try to take
IAGES to newer heights
We believe that this platform will not only enhance our professional knowledge but also
strengthen the bonds of camaraderie within the global surgical community especially among South
Asian countries and open new vistas of exchange of knowledge for ultimate benefits of

Welcome to the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeons (IAGES) South Asian
Conference 2025 in collaboration with Society of Surgeons of Nepal (SSN) in Kathmandu set in
the serene ambience of the mighty Himalayas!
We take immense pleasure in welcoming you to this international event will take place from
January 30th to February 2nd, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency, Kathmandu, Nepal.
Our conference theme, "Fundamentals, Frontiers and Future", aims to create an immersive plat
form for global exchange on the latest trends, advancements, and challenges in the world of
Minimal Invasive Surgery (MIS), robotic surgery and flexible endoscopy. With the
participation
of leading experts, innovators, and surgeons from around the world, we hope to foster a
